What Stand Should You Choose?

No Stand Option

Choosing the 'No Stand' option is ideal if you plan to set your oven atop a non-combustible countertop. To ensure proper heat distribution, we recommend an air gap of 0.8 to 1.2 inches (metal wedges can be provided upon request). If your countertop is made of materials like Caesarstone or other engineered stone, the Giotto with a bench stand is your go-to choice, as it elevates the oven sufficiently to prevent any damage to the surface beneath.

Most U.S. kitchen and outdoor countertop heights average around 35.5 inches. Placing your oven at this level may require you to bend a bit more to peer inside, as the cooking floor would be lower than ideal.

For a comfortable cooking experience, a good ergonomic height for the oven floor is around 41.3 to 43.3 inches. The Giotto has 2.95 inches below the oven floor, making it advantageous to raise your outdoor kitchen's countertop in the oven area to 39.4 to 41.3 inches.

Bench Stand Option

The bench stand option addresses both the ergonomic height and compatibility with engineered stone countertops. This add-on not only allows you to safely place your oven on a granite, marble, quartz countertop but also elevates the oven by an additional 5.9 inches.
